Greg and Grace are close friends and have been teaching partners for more than five years. Modaka Yoga was born from their dedication to serving the happiness and growth of their students. After teaching their first yoga retreat together, they were inspired by the heartfelt and transformational experiences that they witnessed and have since committed themselves to creating retreats and workshops that bring their students into a positive, engaging and healing experience. Grace Rosewarne

Grace brings a special generosity and enthusiasm into her teaching style, seamlessly weaving her immense knowledge of the physical practice with her deep wisdom of yoga philosophy, making her practices rich for both body and heart. She brings wisdom, humour and love into everything she does and her excitement for life, yoga and travel is infectious. She is skillful at adapting her classes to align with the experience and interest of her students. Her classes are uplifting, empowering and joyful.

Originally from Elora, Ontario, Grace spends the majority of her time in Papua New Guinea. She is currently training to be a massage therapist. Grace has been a dedicated and passionate student of yoga for over a decade. Originally certified in Vinyasa Hatha Yoga, she has since turned her studentship toward a more therapeutic and alignment-based approach to yoga asana, primarily rooted in Anusara Yoga® and Ashaya Yoga®. She received her Hatha Yoga certification from Michelle Cormack and an Anusara certification with Todd Norian, and is a licensed 500-hour Ashaya Yoga® teacher. Over the last ten years she has immersed herself in the growth of her practice and teaching through hundreds of study hours in yoga asana, therapeutics, anatomy and philosophy.

 
 
Grace has this seamless way of weaving her tantric lessons and messages into her asana classes, leaving you feeling rejuvenated, aligned and curious to learn more. Grace is a true goddess in all aspects.

Greg Pember

Greg is a deeply dedicated yoga teacher and student. He brings positive energy, enthusiasm and creativity into all of his classes. His classes provide an intention to engage in self-inquiry with honesty, humility and compassion.

Greg’s classes emphasize a strong connection to breath awareness and his intention is to help his students to blissfully evolve and challenge their practice, while offering tools to develop a practice that serves their unique needs. He inspires his students to cultivate loving energy by celebrating and sharing their unique gift with the world.

Originally from Vancouver, BC, Greg has been teaching yoga for six years while maintaining a career as an actor/singer/dancer throughout the US and Canada. He originally trained in an alignment-based Vinyasa style called Blissology Yoga and is currently pursuing his next 300-hour yoga training with Noah Mazé. His interest in energy work and alternative healing led him to complete his Reiki Master Level training in 2018. He also offers Partner Yoga and Reiki-inspired yoga workshops.
